- Support real-time and batch data processing requirements
- Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure secure and reliable data flow
- Monitor system performance and resolve data pipeline issues and bottlenecks
- Document data architecture, workflows, and operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, information security, and ISO standards
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning related to data systems

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- Cloud / Data Engineering certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Minimum 9 years of relevant experience in data engineering or similar roles
- Expertise in data pipeline design and development
- Proficiency in databases and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and system optimization skills
- Experience working with large-scale data systems, preferably utility or AMI environments
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams including IT, cybersecurity, and operations
- Written and spoken English is essential; Arabic is preferred
