The Team:
We are currently seeking a passionate Data Engineer to work the cutting edge power & renewables forecasting engine.
Enverus and its subsidiary PRT have been a leader in load demand and renewable energy forecasting for the past thirty years.
Through our continued growth, we have maintained a one-team culture, with even our most junior members having code running in production within their first few weeks. Performance Objectives:
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and sourcing from diverse providers.
- Design and maintain data sourcing pipelines from multiple providers
- Build and support complex computing algorithms and infrastructures
- Monitor and enhance systems to support massive data streaming and ingestion
Competitive Candidate Profile :
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or similar field
- 4+ years of experience working with data rich applications and pipelines
- Experience with complex domains like power systems or financial trading
- Success in delivering scalable, high-performance software
- Proficiency in Python backend development
- Familiarity with Kafka, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Kubernetes on GCP or AWS
