Primary Focus:
- Developing and implementing strategies and processes for effective data discovery and cataloguing;
- Finding and identifying external data sources that may be useful to the organization;
- Assessing the quality of external data and its compliance with the organization's requirements;
- Communicating with data providers and partners to ensure sustainable access to external data;
- Consulting on the use of external data for business analysis.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages and data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R);
- Experience with data platforms and tools (GreenPlum, Apache Hadoop, Spark, Databricks);
- Project management skills to coordinate initiatives to discover and use external data;
- Ability to present data and analysis results in a clear and compelling manner;
- Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team of data scientists.
