Job DescriptionOur team builds and maintains marketing tools and products within Ubisoft. We leverage cloud, data and business intelligence to help teams in their decision-making. We allow marketing and production teams to better engage with the players across their Ubisoft Journey. As part of our team, the Data Developer will work with cross-functional teams to provide, analyze & maintain data pipelines. You will oversee the development, analyze the performance, and maintain the ETL’s used to support CRM & Media. You will also help the product managers to make better decisions and feed the product strategy based on data with analysis of the impact of our products on customers and internal users.
What you’ll do
The main and routine tasks of this position are to:
- Design, code, and test technical solutions while seeking optimal performance and maintainability.
- Ensure the data library is well documented and comprehensive.
- Proposes ideas of improvement of the applications, procedures and technologies used.
- Collaborate with internal data teams on data architecture efforts in support of reliable data pipelines of both structured and unstructured data.
- Perform data transformations as needed to support data consumption by users or AI systems
- Participates in physical and logical database design.
- Monitor and track data quality (reliability, consistency, integrity)
- Create new processes and automate, standardize, and optimize existing processes.

- Formal education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- Previous experience in data engineering experience
Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of data pipeline development and data store design
- Git or TFS source control usage. · Web services & APIs consumption, design, and implementation .
- Data analysis tools and systems (Excel, Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, Python, SQL)
