Belron has embarked is embarking on an ambitious data strategy programme of work to uplift the data capabilities to so we can respond simply and quickly to the needs of our people, customers and our business.

Our programme aims to improve how and when our people use data, so it informs and shapes our thinking and enables meaningful conversation and decisions, effecting cultural change that enables Belron to be both "data-fit" and "data-driven".

This new role is focused on building our capabilities in change management and communications supporting the Data Led Decisions programme, and will be pivotal in taking our Belron business units through a journey of change, building strong stakeholder relationships through effective communications, and the training and education of our colleagues.
 

The Data Change & Comms Lead will operate at a global level working for the Global Head of Data Governance and will:

  • Develop and implement appropriate change impact assessments which highlights “Who” is impacted by each DLD initiative and “how” these groups will be impacted

  • For each of the DLD transformation deliveries, complete – where necessary – a Training Needs Analysis and Communications Needs Analysis to highlight the communication & training requirements as a result of the change impact assessment

  • Define “how” we will manage the change impacts by listing out the required change& communication interventions

  • Support the development, implementation and deployment of these change & communication interventions, aligning to global standards

  • Manage the various business, technology and programme stakeholders that are impacted by the change. Bring them along the change journey and work with them to agree how their functions will be impacted and how this should be managed. Leverage existing business function processes.

  • Support the implementation of a data literacy strategy that encompasses communication, change network and education/training for each transformation business unit.

  • Align with wider transformation change & communication activities to ensure DLD change & communication activities are seamlessly connected for our associates

  • Educate business unit colleagues in the value of change management and effective and timely communication and how these capabilities/initiatives can benefit them and Belron as a group.

  • Train and support colleagues within the Data function so that they can confidently support team activities. Build change advocacy within the Data Function through effective delivery and communications.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Oversee the delivery of business unit wide Data change and communication projects and services and providing guidance on best practices.

  • Establish effective relationships with external parties in support of the data literacy strategy.

  • Help define change management and communication processes and procedures to enable consistent management of data across the Group and ensure alignment with the Global Change and Communication principles

  • Design a holistic Data change management strategy.

  • Build and manage a global Data change agent network, through effective communication and engagement plans

  • Build a change impact assessment log across all DLD initiatives

  • Define Training requirements with a Training Needs analysis

  • Define communication requirements across all DLD initiatives -aligning the with the overall strategic communication / vision of DLD and Global transformation

  • Build & deploy change, training and communication interventions, based on the identified change impacts

  • Alignment with Global T&T Change and Global T&T Communications 

  • Support the delivery of a data literacy programme for all our transformation countries

  • Develops and gives presentations on the power and value of change management.

  • Support the implementation of the strategic Data change management strategy.

  • Provide training to business functions to ensure the data & reporting changes can be adopted effectively.

  • Foster the creation of a data-driven culture across Belron.

  • Acting as the subject matter expert within the organisation and consult with stakeholders to ensure data goals and objectives are met in regard to data culture.

COMMUNICATION:

  • Demonstrates the ability to create presentations and deliver them clearly.

  • Comfortable in influencing and educating stakeholders across our businesses, capturing business needs; understand and define programme needs.

  • Coach colleagues to make use of data and information on our journey to becoming a data-driven organisation.

Level of Education

  • Degree level

Work Experience

  • Experience of working for a global business

  • At least 2 years of change management inc. Communication.

  • Motor industry (desirable)

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of data literacy approaches

  • Change management best practices

  • Communication expertise​

  • Excellent analytical, written, oral, and presentation skills with proven record of effectively communicating actionable plans and insights.

Circumstances
