We’re seeking someone to join our NFR Data & Analytics team as an experienced Business Analyst to work on data-centric design projects within the Non-Financial Risk domain. With a professional background in financial services, technology or consulting, you will be passionate about designing data-driven solutions to enable change within complex and dynamic businesses.

In the Legal & Compliance division, we assist the Firm in achieving its business objectives by facilitating and overseeing the Firm’s management of legal, regulatory and NFR Data & Analytics is a function in the Legal and Compliance Division responsible for designing and optimizing surveillance models, approaches and tools using advanced analytical techniques like supervised and unsupervised machine learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP) and evolving techniques like graph analytics. The surveillances and other tools help identify suspicious and/or illegal behaviors like money laundering, market manipulation, insider trading, unfair sales or trading practices and other financial crimes.

What you will do in the role:

  • Collaborate with Technology and Data-Science teams to design data models and develop semantic capabilities.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to implement data-centric solutions that enhance decision-making.

  • Lead projects to deploy advanced semantic capabilities, including search utilities and recommendation engines powered by GenAI.

What you will bring to the role:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience in financial services, technology, or consulting.

  • A strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of using data-driven approaches to solve business problems.

  • Experience in agile development and a deep understanding of data design methodologies.

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Expertise in semantic technologies or practical experience with RDF/OWL concepts.

  • Knowledge of SQL, SPARQL, and Python.

  • Experience in operational risk management or technology application design.
