Job Summary
The Billing Data Supervisor will lead that team of data specialists that support the Firm’s project closure automation tool and the billing data tasks submitted through the billing directive tool. The team will perform high volume daily tasks related to these two tools and must be able to read and understand detailed process documents, have strong organization, prioritization, time management skills and the ability to analyze and problem solve. These tasks are critical to the firm’s revenue recognition processes. This role will lead continued development, enhancements and testing of both tools in collaboration with the Billing Leader and other finance leaders.
Essential Duties
Manage the day-to-day processes and team supporting the project closure automation tool, the billing directive tool data tasks and shared billing mailboxes. Responsible for coordinating and organizing schedules, processes, and procedures for the timely completion of these tasks. This includes meeting with key stakeholders and team members, ensuring compliance to standard practices, resolving complex issues/questions, and education of billing team members.
Collaborate with Billing Leader and other finance leaders to continue to refine both tools by bringing new ideas to the table that will enhance automation and efficiency.
Performance Advisor (PA) duties include connecting with advisees regularly, driving performance and ongoing development of your skills. Duties include but are not limited to:

Advisee onboarding – manages new hire onboarding process, acclimation and integration with team, training guidance, and expectation setting.

Ongoing performance management (goal setting, feedback, performance assessment)

Meets regularly with employees to coach and guide on goal setting, analyzing feedback for trends and development opportunities, and short-term goals/progression.

Responsible for assessment of overall performance (descriptor/rating) through mid-year and year-end activities.

Partners with HR business partners to manage performance concerns, development coaching and improvement plans (ECR).

Supports employees with the development of knowledge, skills and abilities by working to help gain exposure through on-the-job experiences, alignment of work, learning opportunities and connectivity to others.

Understands resources available to support the talent experience and connects employees to resources based on individual gaps and goals.

Utilization/productivity – works with employee to monitor personal metrics, help align to LOB and firmwide expectations and monitors for issues or gaps.

Understands big picture of employee career objectives and life goals. Provides coaching and guidance around development towards these objectives and helps employees connect to enterprise and LOB strategy.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree with an accounting focus or equivalent experience - Required
- Bachelor's degree - Preferred
