About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Business Data Analyst to join our dynamic fintech team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, dashboard creation, and trend identification, with deep expertise in Power BI and SQL. You will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize business performance and KPIs.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth and optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Finance, Operations, etc.) to understand data needs and deliver insights.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and validate data from various sources.
  • Monitor data quality and integrity, ensuring accuracy and consistency across reports.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests from business units.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role.
  • Proven expertise in Power BI – including DAX, data modeling, and dashboard/report creation.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL – ability to write and optimize complex queries.
  • Experience working in the fintech industry or with financial data is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google BigQuery).
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance in financial services.
