Responsibilities

• Administering, testing, implementing, and maintaining computer databases, which may include coordinating computer database changes; implementing security measures to safeguard computer databases
• Maintaining databases within an application area
• Working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
• Support of design, testing, deployment, and operations of DCGS-N or other C4ISR programs.
• Develop lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment using Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Utilize DevOps tools for build, deploy, and patch automation (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, BMC, or Similar).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any technical discipline and individual shall have any combination of the following industry certification such as CompTIA Cloud Essentials/Microsoft Technical Associate (MTA)/Certificate of Cloud Security (CCSK)/CompTIA A+/CompTIA Security+/EMC Data Science Associate (EMCDSA)/Cloudera Certified Data Scientist (CCDH)/Certified Apache Hadoop Developer (HCAHD) (Hortonworks)/Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)/Certified Cloud Professional (CCP) (Cloudera)/Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD)/Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD)/Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE)/Private Cloud/Certified Administrator for Apache Hadoop (CCAH) (Cloudera)
• Three (3) or more years of professional experience administering, testing, implementing, and maintaining computer databases which may include coordinating computer database changes; implementing security measures to safeguard computer databases; and maintaining databases within an application area; individual shall be capable of working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
• Two (2) years of technical experience supporting design, testing, deployment, and operations of DCGS-N or other C4ISR programs. Individual shall have or be able to attain within 30 Days of assignment the Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II certification. Experience with full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment using Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Proficient with utilizing DevOps tools for build, deploy, and patch automation (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, BMC, or Similar). Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
