🟣 The skills you need
Minimum Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer using Java & Python.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and advanced SQL.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with ETL processes or data pipeline development.
• Experience using Git and working in agile environments.
• Analytical mindset and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Adaptability to a constantly changing roadmap.
• Autonomy in tasks executions.
• Ability to communicate complicated technical problems to both technical and business audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the payment industry.
• Experience working in data-intensive environments or with data infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Spark, DBT, or similar data frameworks.
• Knowledge of Data Lakes and Data Warehouses.
• Background in payments or fintech industries.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud environments (GCP or AWS).
