Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for Data Architect to design & develop Data Products that enables scalability, governance, and innovation. The role requires deep expertise in Data Modelling, and modern data platforms such as Snowflake, along with strong Data Management and Governance practices. The Data Architect will be responsible for aligning business goals with technology, ensuring data quality, and enabling advanced analytics and AI/ML use cases.

Experience:

  1. 10+ years of experience in data engineering/management roles
  2. 2+ years in enterprise-level data architecture and data governance
  3. Experience of design and validate Data architecture standards to deliver reliable, scalable, and compliant Data products
  4. Design and document data models and architecture frameworks aligned with group standards
  5. Excellent understanding of different Data Models (CDM, LDM, PDM)
  6. Proven experience implementing solutions using Snowflake
  7. Strong background in Data Governance, Data Quality, and Master data Management (MDM)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Modeling
  2. Drive the creation and maintenance of advanced data models for Data Products
  3. Ensure consistency and reusability of models across business domains and systems
  4. Data Management & Governance
  5. Implement MDM, Lineage tracking, and Data cataloguing
  6. Ensure Data readiness and certification for Data Products
  7. Data Product Implementation
  8. Design, build and optimize Data products using Snowflake (preferable)
  9. Business Alignment
  10. Collaborate with business stakeholders to align Data Product use cases with organizational objectives, ensuring alignment with technical implementation
  11. Collaborate with Data Governance teams to ensure alignment between architecture and governance policies
  12. Act as an advisor to Data Architects, Data Governance Officers, Data Product Owners and Managers
  13. Ensure reuse of existing Data products
  14. Promote best practices and architectural patterns for Data Products

Required Skills:

Technical:

  1. Strong expertise in Data Modelling (CDM, LDM, PDM)
  2. Strong expertise in Snowflake
  3. In-depth knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, and MDM frameworks
  4. Good understanding in Data catalogue (e.g. Atlan, Collibra), Data Observability (e.g. Sifflet), Data quality and MDM (e.g. Semarchy) solutions

Professional Competencies:

  1. Ability to articulate a holistic vision for Data Product (Technical + Governance + Business)
  2. Strong knowledge of Data security, Data privacy, and Compliance frameworks
  3. Awareness of Data governance, compliance, and data security standards
  4. Excellent documentation skills, Strong stakeholder management and Communication skills

 

Total Experience Expected: 08-10 years

Qualifications

BE / B.Tech/ MS/ M.Tech/ MCA
