Responsible for the definition of target picture and further development of data architecture & model, being accountable for ensuring alignment, consistency, functionality and interfaces between different systems
Responsible for the development of existing & generation of new data sources, supporting in ensuring legal compliance, separation of tasks and consistency between processes, data model and data quality metrics
Supports in the evaluation of tools & systems, classification and system-related documentation
Supports, at a strategic level, in the management of object and portfolio and in the organization (re-)design, including the definition of roles & responsibilities and in the establishment and maintenance of data management organization & process model
Supports and consults in the process definition, authorization concept, documentation of guidelines, release management, collection, analysis & prioritization of requirements and in the implementation planning
Your Skills and Expertise:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field;
6+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering or data management roles;
Skilled in data profiling, cleansing, validation, and conducting comprehensive data quality assessments to ensure accuracy and consistency;
Proficient in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business intelligence and analytical needs;
Strong understanding of industry-standard governance practices including metadata management, data ownership, and compliance;
Experienced in assessing, improving, and maintaining high data quality standards across systems and processes;
Expertise in integrating data from multiple sources using ETL tools and techniques to build robust and scalable data pipelines;
Capable of translating complex data into actionable insights using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar;
Good knowledge of SQL for querying, manipulating, and managing relational databases.
Ability to effectively communicate data concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages are welcomed
Previous involvement in data migration, system implementation, S4Hana upgrades and/or business transformation projects - as an asset
