Analytica is seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead a high-profile data management program supporting mission critical health care analytics for the Defense Health Agency. The ideal candidate should have large scale data architecture, governance and management experience with architecting Azure and AWS cloud data services for Enterprise Analytics.
The candidate needs to be a US Citizen with a SECRET clearance or the ability to secure a SECRET clearance. The role may be Hybrid, either in San Antonio Tx or Falls Church VA, or potentially remote with periodic travel for meetings.

Responsibilities:
- Lead data architecture and design for implementing data architecture frameworks that enhance the Military Health System's (MHS) ability to leverage data as a strategic asset.
- Ensure data interoperability, governance, and quality to support enterprise-wide decision-making and healthcare optimization play a critical role in designing and implementing data architecture frameworks that enhance the Military Health System's (MHS) ability to leverage data as a strategic asset.
- Define and Implement data architecture standards, frameworks and guidelines to ensure data platform efficiency and to ensure high quality data for gaining insights / downstream consumptions
- Lead the creation of data models to standardize data definitions, relationships and semantics across systems
- Collaborate with extended teams and stakeholders to establish data standards, metadata management practices and data quality frameworks
- Design scalable architectures that integrate various data sources, systems, and platforms while minimizing duplication
- Data Integration: Facilitate the integration of diverse data sources into unified structures, ensuring seamless data flow across the organization.
- Master Data Management: Collaborate with HIT divisions and PMOs to establish master data management frameworks and standards.
- Governance Support: Assist in defining and implementing data governance policies, procedures, and guidelines aligned with organizational goals.
- Interoperability: Enhance data interoperability by defining well-structured data and information exchanges.
- Compliance: Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, security standards, and mission-critical objectives.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data architecture, processes, and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or related roles.
- Proven experience in architecting, management and evolving a hybrid enterprise data environment for analytics using Azure Synapse, Amazon Redshift, Glue, EMR, and Athena for high volume data and analytics products
- Proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques, including developing conceptual and logical data models.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, metadata management, and data integration processes.
