Johnson Controls is looking for a skilled Data Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of data solutions that support business objectives. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to define data architecture and ensure data quality, security, and accessibility across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data architectures that meet business requirements.
- Develop data models and maintain documentation of architecture designs.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless data integration and accessibility.
- Establish best practices for data management and governance.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance data architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling techniques.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for data storage and processing.
- Proficient in ETL tools and data pipeline design. Snowflake experience is mandatory.
- Experience with data modeling tool such as Erwin is mandatory.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English (mandatory)
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
