Job Description

The Data Architect (Engineer) will design, build, and optimize systems for Backend Manufacturing data collection, storage, access, and analytics at scale.

The person will create data pipelines that convert manufacturing raw data into formats usable by data science, data-centric applications, and other data consumers. Manage and organize the MFG data while keeping an eye out for inconsistencies. It includes work with our outsourced factories for OSAT and ODM, internal product manufacturing teams, and other stakeholders. Expectations like: develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures/frameworks; Data acquisition and preparation data for predictive and prescriptive modeling. Develop data set processes; Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality; Optimize data retrieval and develop dashboards, reports, and other visualizations for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer science/engineering, Mathematics, or similar field, with 5+ years of software development experience.
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture; Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms
• Ability to write robust code (like SQL, Python, Java, C#, etc.)
• Ability to work in a team, outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and algorithm would be a big plus
