We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our Business Intelligence team. The Data Architect will be responsible for designing, creating, deploying, and managing our organization's data architecture. 

This role is crucial for ensuring our data systems are optimized, secure, and scalable to meet current and future business needs.

As our Data Architect, you will:

  • Design and implement effective database solutions, including conceptual and logical models, ERDs, and DFDs, while optimizing data storage and retrieval processes.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency by developing data governance policies, managing MDM strategies, implementing data stewardship programs, conducting audits, and maintaining detailed documentation.
  • Manage role-based access control, define security and backup procedures, and ensure data integrity through continuous monitoring and validation.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to address data architecture needs, translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences, and offer expert recommendations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data processes and tools.

Here is what will qualify you for the role: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or a similar role.
  • Deep understanding of database structures, with hands-on experience in database management systems (DBMS), data modeling, and design.
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) and proficiency in SQL and other database languages.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
