We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and participate in the assessment, refactor, and modernization of legacy systems, leveraging experience with diverse technologies to propose effective migration strategies and architectural design of data solutions.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement data architecture solutions that align with our client´s objectives and support scalability and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Provide guidance and support to development teams in database design, query optimization, and data modeling best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate data storage and processing solutions, considering factors such as cost, performance, scalability, and security.

Hard Skills - Must have:

• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases, particularly SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience with design of data architecture and migration/modernization of data layers.
• Understanding of the Data Lifecycle Management process to collect, access, use, store, transfer, delete data.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality data solutions

Hard Skills - Nice to have/It's a plus:

• Knowledge of classic ASP and database query execution and data rendering into classic ASP
• Knowledge of modern reporting/ data visualization tools and techniques

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
