Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-scale data platforms and architectures that support analytics, reporting, and operational data needs. This role will be responsible for defining data strategy, data models, governance standards, and scalable cloud-based data solutions while partnering closely with engineering, analytics, DevOps, and business teams.
The ideal candidate combines strong architecture experience with hands-on knowledge of modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and large-scale data processing.
Key Responsibilities
Design and define enterprise data architecture aligned with business and technology strategy.
Architect and guide implementation of cloud-native data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, and modern analytical architectures.
Lead the design of scalable batch and real-time data processing solutions.
Establish and govern data modeling standards (conceptual, logical, and physical models).
Drive best practices for data quality, security, governance, metadata management, and compliance.
Provide architectural guidance for data integration, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data lifecycle management.
Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise data solutions.
Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and emerging technologies to modernize the data ecosystem.

Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data architectures.
Strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms and data pipelines on public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and modern analytical architectures.
Strong knowledge of data modeling principles and best practices.
Experience designing solutions for both batch and real-time data processing.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python or similar programming languages.
Understanding of data governance, metadata management, data quality, and security frameworks.
Experience working with large-scale, high-volume data environments.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Experience with Apache Spark and large-scale distributed data processing.

Experience with modern analytics and data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similar technologies.
Familiarity with modern table formats and lakehouse technologies such as Iceberg, Delta Lake, or Apache Hudi.
Knowledge of CI/CD practices, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent).
Experience in regulated or enterprise domains such as healthcare, financial services, retail, or manufacturing.
Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
