Your Mission

As a Procurement Data and Process Development Analyst at BDR Thermea, you will provide critical data to the procurement team, helping them execute their strategy by gathering and integrating data from various ERP systems and other tools. You will also contribute to achieving procurement excellence through the setup, training, and rollout of supplier management tools, working closely with the procurement team and suppliers to ensure compliance.


What You’ll Do

You will work in the Procurement Excellence department, working closely together with the Procurement Excellence Manager. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Implement AI-driven procurement strategies: Enhance efficiency, forecast trends, and optimize processes by integrating AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, optimize supplier management, and provide data-driven insights for better decision-making.
  • Manage process improvement projects: Align with the company’s strategy and ensure successful project completion, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement processes through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain and develop the procurement data model and reporting: Perform comprehensive procurement analysis, resulting in accurate and insightful data analysis using your expert-level Power BI skills.
  • Maintain the procurement SharePoint team room: Ensure organized and accessible information sharing, streamlining communication and document management within the procurement team.
  • Manage and report compliance: Use tools like Microsoft Flow to develop and implement new compliance processes, ensuring consistent adherence to compliance standards and improving process efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cost engineers, finance, and other functions: Support database and reporting projects, resulting in integrated and accurate financial and procurement data reporting.
  • Manage and maintain third-party SRM tools: Ensure supplier participation and compliance, fostering effective supplier relationship management through training, videos, and guides.
  • Regularly update spreadsheets and applications: Keep data current and accurate, providing reliable and up-to-date vendor performance metrics.


You Largely Recognize Yourself in This

You possess a strong blend of technical skills, analytical capabilities, attention to detail and collaborative traits essential for driving procurement excellence. You are tech-savvy, organized, highly detail-oriented, and demonstrate the ability to manage and enhance complex procurement processes while ensuring compliance with company strategies and standards.


Furthermore, you possess:

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, policies, and regulations.
  • Experience with data management and analysis software, and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey data insights and recommendations.
  • Ability to identify issues and develop strategic solutions to improve procurement processes.
  • Chartered Institute of Purchasing (MCIPS) and Supply or equivalent certification.
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement.
  • English speaker.
  • Self-starter.
