GENERAL POSITION STATEMENT: This person will be responsible for serving primarily as a partner in building and maintaining career engagement management platform(s) and supporting related reporting and data visualization.
PRIMARY DUTIES:

Support C2 Hub team in regular data maintenance; serve as a thought partner in troubleshooting, and seek to become an “expert” in specific functions of the platform.

Pull reports from database(s) and analyze engagement data as applicable

Create data visualization for internal and external use
-
Prepare presentations for review and distribution

Handle incoming requests from team’s email and in workflows within the system
-
Manage external inbox, as well as written, phone, and in-person communication · Compile monthly partner newsletter, Front Runner, for review

Support database framework management · Maintain and lead the organization of the project tracker for building and implementing database improvements

Research solutions to gaps and concerns found within the system
-
Assist in building and maintaining the platform interface to work with all who may engage with it

Data Entry: maintain, review and record data in MSU Denver’s CareerLink database
-
Prepare, send and compile data from post-event surveys (student and employer) as needed.

Post-event wrap-up, data collection and reporting responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS NEEDED:
-
Attend, staff and potentially facilitate events (both on-campus and virtual) during “all hands” event calls.

Supplement acute event preparation and facilitation as needed.

Provide professional, courteous, concierge-level customer service to internal and external “clients” interfacing with any project you are working on. Communicate details regarding projects to stakeholders in a professional and accurate manner.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Experience and comfort with data entry, database use, and/or point of sale systems
-
Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, with strength in Outlook & Excel specifically
-
Experience utilizing visualization and presentation software programs such as: Tableau, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Cloud such as Illustrator, Photoshop and/or InDesign.

Experience with virtual platform technology such as Zoom, MS Teams, etc. and comfortable interacting in a virtual setting with up to 20 attendees.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Detail-oriented, organized and proficient at time management.

Ability to provide creative ideas and opinions regarding improvements & suggestions of events/programs.

Ability to work 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Work schedule can adjust around scheduled classes. Some evening/weekend and work outside of regular schedule may be requested.

Ability to travel/navigate around Auraria campus to distribute posters/flyers and other marketing materials

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative

Previous database and/or point of sale system management experience

Interest in data informatics, data visualization, and/or database management
-
Ability to maintain a professional working relationship with all constituents (students, employers, staff, faculty, etc.).

Ability to provide highly professional demeanor on the phone, in-person, virtually (video) and through written communication.

DURATION: This position is expected to begin in Fall 2024 and run through the 2024/2025 academic year. Current expected days in-person are Wednesdays and Thursdays, with remote/hybrid work the remaining days, and occasionally extra day(s) in the office due to special events.

PAY: $22/hr, 30 hours per week

ABOUT US: The Classroom to Career Hub the C2 Hub translates the academic experience into tangible and actionable career development skills; it provides general and industry specific resources for professional development and growth for learners so they can be positioned onto an accelerated professional track. More tangibly, it houses the campus’ career services functions which provides career exploration and workforce development resources, as well as connects students with companies who want to recruit from the Roadrunner family. The Industry Partnerships Team is one branch within the Classroom to Career Hub that focuses on building relationships with those companies, bringing them on campus and creating those networking and connective opportunities that so many students rely on to secure career-related jobs and internships.
