Data and Analytics Intern - Summer 2025 - Boston Seaport
We are seeking a detail-oriented and curious Intern to join our Data & Analytics (DNA) team. This internship provides hands-on experience in data quality, visualization, and data architecture, offering the opportunity to work with SQL, Tableau, and other data tools. The ideal candidate is a college or graduate-level student passionate about data and analysis, eager to learn, and excited to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
DNA partners across nearly every team at Nasuni to deliver key insights and reporting. We maintain a comprehensive data platform that houses data from our primary business systems, enabling a single pane of glass in over 200 Tableau dashboards and countless strategic analyses.
By joining our team, you will gain a deep understanding of Nasuni by collaborating with RevOps, Sales, Product, Engineering, CX, and Customer Support. You will make an impact leveraging tools like Snowflake, Tableau, and Metaplane to support our initiatives around building scalable data architecture, designing best-practice data visualizations, and advancing data observability.
Responsibilities
Data Observability Support
- Create alerts to monitor important datasets in the code for clarity
- Investigate discrepancies between systems and troubleshoot issues
Tableau & Data Visualization
- Migrate dashboards to the latest template and update to company brand guidelines
- Optimize dashboard performance for efficiency and usability
- Work with stake holders across the business to build dashboards based on business use cases
Data Architecture & Organization
- Identify redundancies in datasets and propose improvements
- Develop flowcharts to visualize key existing data architectures
- Validate and maintain an up-to-date metrics glossary by communicating with stakeholders
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Curious and eager to learn about data management and visualization.
- Familiarity with SQL and Tableau.
- Bonus: Experience with Excel is a plus.
