The Data and AI Manager is responsible for overseeing the analysis of complex datasets, development of AI models to uncover key insights and handling of database design, and data warehousing. The role directs the implementation of efficient data pipelines, ensures data integrity and compliance with governance standards. The role manages data governance initiatives, ensures adherence to regulatory standards and ethical guidelines. The role partners with business teams to translate requirements into actionable solutions and provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on data and AI initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
• Oversees the analysis of complex datasets and the development of AI models to identify key trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic decision-making and business performance.
• Directs the development and implementation of efficient data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and compliance with governance standards.
• Drives the deployment of machine learning models in production environments, ensuring adherence to best practices for security, scalability, and model explainability, and oversee ongoing monitoring and maintenance activities.
• Manages data governance and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, privacy policies, and ethical guidelines in the collection, storage, and use of data assets.
• Supervises the documentation of data pipelines, models, and processes, ensuring clarity, maintainability, and effective knowledge transfer within the team and across departments.
• Leads troubleshooting efforts for data quality issues, conducting root cause analysis and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective solutions.
• Partners with business teams to understand their data needs and challenges, translating requirements into well-defined technical specifications and actionable data solutions.
• Provides strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on data and AI initiatives, leveraging industry best practices and emerging trends to drive competitive advantage and business growth.
• Ensures continuous improvement of data engineering and AI capabilities, evaluating emerging technologies, optimizing processes, and driving innovation to deliver value-added solutions to the organization.
• Manages talent across the team, while driving employee selection, performance management, compensation management, career development, and ensuring effective operational management.
Minimum required Education:
Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science, Econometrics, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent.
Minimum required Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience executing AI tools in E2E Commercial Environment with hands‑on expertise in data handling, data analytics, AI modeling, or related areas.
