About the role and team:

Collaborating with the Head of Strategy and Business Innovation, you will be responsible for shaping and leading the AI-driven data analytics strategy, supervising data governance, and ensuring that machine learning and predictive analytics are at the core of decision-making processes deployed by our connected product platform.
Your goal is to leverage AI and sophisticated analytics to drive business performance, optimize data collection, and develop predictive models that enhance forecasting, personalization, and operational efficiency.
As a key leader in the organization, you will define the vision for AI and data science, ensuring that insights drive strategic decisions and operational improvements across product, marketing, and sales. You will also work on the automation of analytics processes, the deployment of AI solutions, and the development of scalable data infrastructures that support long-term business growth.
This role is highly multi-functional and collaborative, working closely with C-level leadership, data engineers, and business team members to ensure the successful integration of AI and machine learning models into core business strategies

What You will accomplish:

• AI, Machine Learning & Predictive Analytics:
•  Lead the development and deployment of AI and machine learning models, including predictive analytics, recommendation systems, and automation tools.
• Implement forecasting models to optimize our fraud detection system, sales, marketing performance, and operational efficiency.
• Leverage AI to develop customer segmentation, behavioral modeling, and personalization strategies for improved engagement and conversion rates.
• Drive continuous improvements in algorithmic performance, model accuracy, and scalability.
• Explore and integrate pioneering AI technologies (e.g., deep learning, generative AI, reinforcement learning) to drive innovation.
   
• Data Strategy, Governance & Infrastructure
• Define and implement a data governance framework, ensuring high data quality, compliance, and security.
• Oversee the architecture of data pipelines and AI models, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business goals.
• Work with data engineers and data analysts to optimize data collection, storage, and processing across the organization.
• Establish standard processes for data versioning, model deployment, and model monitoring to ensure AI solutions remain effective.
   
• Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics
• Develop dashboards and visualization tools to provide real-time insights for senior management.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure that AI and analytics solutions enhance decision-making across all business functions.
• Automate data analysis workflows to improve efficiency and reduce reliance on manual reporting.
• Drive self-service analytics adoption within business teams, enabling non-technical users to leverage insights.
   
• Multi-functional Collaboration & Leadership
• Partner with Product team to maximise and elevate the use of AI to support our fraud detection system 
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to integrate AI-driven insights into business strategies.
• Deliver training and mentorship to junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a data-driven culture.
• Work closely with C-level executives to align AI initiatives with overall business objectives.

What you will bring:

• Demonstrated ability in data analytics, AI, and machine learning, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Confirmed expertise in predictive modeling, deep learning, and sophisticated statistical analysis.

• Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Databricks).

• Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and experience deploying AI models in production environments.

• Expertise in data governance, data engineering, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and the development of AI-powered reporting systems.

• Superb communication skills, with the ability to translate sophisticated AI concepts into actionable business insights.

• Ability to lead, mentor, and build high-performing AI and analytics teams.

• Passion for AI innovation, research, and staying ahead of industry trends.
