The mission of the Data & Analytics Department is to maximize the value of Aritzia’s data by making it available, insightful and actionable to foster a culture of data-driven decision making.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a member of the Data & Analytics Department supporting Digital, you will be part of the team that bridges the gap between business strategy and data. As a Sr. Data Analyst, Advanced Analytics at Aritzia, you will combine your deep understanding of digital customer experiences with your passion for data and masterful analytics skills to enable data-driven experiences that will create long lasting relationships with our customers and drive outcomes for our Digital business. THE ROLE

As the Sr. Data Analyst, Advanced Analytics, you will:

• Partner and innovate with business leaders to deeply understand or identify the strategic opportunities across eCommerce, Retail, and other cross-functional divisions
• Define measurement strategies to quantify the performance of various customer programs and compare their current condition against a hindsight benchmark
• Support with generating actionable insights by analyzing customer behaviour, through diagnostics, correlations, and hypothesis testing to grow the business and enhance customer experience
• Clearly and accurately visualize and communicate data and analytics through reports, dashboards, and presentations to maximize strategic decisions

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Sr. Data Analyst, Advanced Analytics has:

• An understanding and passion for the industry we operate in, preferably a background in eCommerce and/or Digital
• Proven skills, education and/or applicable certifications in:
  • SQL
  • Visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
  • Python
  • R or related statistical analysis tools
  • Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
• A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
• The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of operational efficiency, continuous growth, and shared business outcomes
• The ability to understand and transform complex business problems into data & analytics requirements

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.  Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus.
