Job Description
Key responsibilities:
Own and manage end‑to‑end data loading processes - collect data from multiple internal and external sources, transform it, and ensure its accurate, automated and timely loading into the database.
Ensure high data quality by implementing validation rules, monitoring, reconciliation checks, and automated quality controls at every stage of the pipeline.
Design, develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to support reliable, scalable and high‑performance data processing across systems.
Build, maintain and enhance reports and analytical models in Power BI and/or Qlik Sense, following best practices in data modeling, DAX/M coding, visualization standards, governance and user experience.
Develop and maintain data models, analytical layers and data flows that support business-critical reporting and analytics use cases.
Identify and resolve issues related to data quality, data integrity, and system performance; implement preventive measures to avoid recurring problems.
Write, optimize and maintain SQL and procedural database code for large and complex datasets.
Integrate new data sources into the local data warehouse and continuously improve existing data structures (including OLAP cubes / SSAS where applicable).
Collaborate with business teams on data exploration, preparation and visualization activities.
Continuously enhance the performance, reliability and scalability of data systems and reporting environments.
Maintain data security, compliance and availability in line with organizational data privacy and quality standards.
Our Requirements:
Graduate Degree
Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions, e.g. in data engineering or analytics roles.
Strong interpersonal skills (including influencing) with good collaborative attitude.
Advanced SQL, Power BI and MS Office.
Self-driven, goal-oriented, open to challenges, focused on continuous improvement.
Fluent in English.
Nice to have:
Degree in IT, Data Engineering, Big Data, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or a related field.
Phyton, Qlik, SSIS .
Compensation Structure & Criteria:
Sandoz compensation is determined by job level, qualifications, niche skills, experience, and location within company salary ranges. Fully proficient and highly effective employees can expect a starting salary around market median, with those new to the level or with less functional depth at the lower end of the range and those with sustained superior or niche skills towards the higher end of the range. Internal equity and external market data inform our range placement. Annual salary reviews consider performance outcomes, market alignment, and business needs.
Job location: Poland, Warsaw
Pay range: 11 939- 22 208 (gross)/monthly
Variable compensation:
Annual performance-based bonus of 15%;
