Position Summary
Entrega is seeking a hands-on, builder-oriented Data & Analytics Lead to establish and lead our Data & Analytics Delivery Team.

This role begins as a player-coach position: leading architecture and solution delivery while recruiting and building a structured analytics team beneath you. As the team scales, the role will evolve toward increased leadership responsibility and reduced individual billable contribution.

The Data & Analytics Lead will be accountable for building the team, defining technical standards, managing utilization performance, and ensuring analytics delivery integrates seamlessly into Entrega’s broader Service Delivery model.

This is a foundational leadership hire with clear growth trajectory as the capability expands.

This position is primarily in-office to enable close collaboration with Service Delivery, Delivery Systems, and executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build & Manage the Data & Analytics Delivery Team
  • Recruit, hire, and structure the Data & Analytics Delivery Team
  • Define team roles, leveling standards, and technical competency expectations
  • Directly manage team members, including performance reviews and development planning
  • Establish clear utilization and delivery performance expectations
  • Develop scalable capacity planning aligned to delivery demand
• Hands-On Technical Leadership (Early Phase)
  • Lead architecture and solution design for client data and analytics initiatives
  • Provide hands-on development support in BI, data modeling, SQL, and cloud data environments as needed
  • Establish coding, documentation, and quality standards
  • Create reusable frameworks, accelerators, and best practices
• Delivery Performance & Governance
  • Ensure analytics engagements meet scope, timeline, and profitability targets
  • Partner with Service Delivery Managers to align staffing to demand
  • Maintain visibility into team utilization and margin performance
  • Reinforce disciplined intake and scope management processes
  • Prevent uncontrolled analytics scope expansion
• Cross-Functional Integration
  • Act as the structured gateway for analytics production work entering the team
  • Support pre-sales solution design and technical validation
  • Ensure analytics solutions integrate with digital and technology initiatives
  • Partner with Delivery Systems leadership to reinforce production discipline
    

Qualifications
The following qualifications reflect the experience, capabilities, and attributes typically required to perform successfully in this role.

• 6–10+ years of experience in Data & Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Engineering
  • 2+ years of technical leadership or team leadership experience
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms
  • Experience designing scalable data architectures and reporting frameworks
  • Experience working within professional services or client-facing delivery environments strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build and mentor technical teams
  • Understanding of billable utilization and delivery margin expectations preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field required
