Data Analytics Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Data Analytics Lead Analyst for its Schaumburg, Illinois location.

Duties: Interact with end users to gather project requirements and coordinate with cross-functional teams for impact analysis and project planning and execution. Apply in-depth understanding of how data analytics collectively integrate within different sub-functions of the Personal Banking and Wealth Management business, to support its business objectives and global suite of software products. Actively communicate with stakeholders and colleagues in various business areas to influence and guide the functional and technical strategies building. Design flexible and scalable solutions to meet the project requirements using Extract Transform Load (ETL), Business Intelligence (BI), and other various modern tools and technologies. Develop and deploy automated solutions for continuous integration of changing project requirements. Address complex and highly variable issues, and produce a detailed analysis of those issues where best course of action is not evident from the information available but must be resolved. Manage the volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of data science projects, and is responsible for short-term resource planning. Provide advice and counsel related to technology operations of the business. Employ subject matter and industry expertise within defined areas and contribute to setting the data analytics standards around which others will operate. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Lead Architect – Technology, Technology Specialist, Sr. Associate – Projects, IT Analyst or related position collecting and analyzing Business Intelligence (BI) end-user requirements and designing and developing data models and analytical cubes.  5 years of experience must include: Data Modeling, Data Analytics, Data Visualization, Data Integration, Reporting, Customer Engagement, Project Management, Budget Management; Tableau, Cognos; Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud (IICS); Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, Hive, Impala, Snowflake; Unix, Linux, Shell Scripting; Autosys, Maestro; Estimating time, effort and resources required to meet the project timelines; Mentoring a team; and Following data warehousing standards in order to build reporting solutions.
