Job Description

The Data Analytics and Reporting Lead is responsible for driving enterprise-wide analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives to enable data-driven decision-making. This role leads the design, development, and delivery of actionable insights through dashboards, reports, advanced analytics, and performance measurement frameworks. The position partners closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and leadership to transform data into strategic business outcomes.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

Analytics Leadership

 

  • Develop and execute the organization's analytics and reporting strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead analytics initiatives that identify trends, opportunities, risks, and performance improvement areas.
  • Translate complex business requirements into meaningful analytical solutions and actionable recommendations.
  • Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making across business functions.

Reporting and Business Intelligence

  • Oversee the design, development, automation, and maintenance of enterprise reporting solutions.
  • Establish standardized reporting frameworks, KPIs, metrics, and governance processes.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of management and operational reporting.
  • Create executive-level dashboards and performance scorecards.

Data Management and Governance

  • Collaborate with data engineering and technology teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and availability.
  • Define reporting standards, data definitions, and business rules.
  • Support data governance initiatives and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and improve data quality through validation and control mechanisms.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with business leaders to understand strategic priorities and analytical needs.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Influence decision-making through data storytelling and visualization.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on analytics and reporting best practices.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop analytics and reporting professionals.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and analytical excellence.
  • Manage project priorities, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.
  • Drive capability building and adoption of emerging analytics technologies.

Process Improvement and Automation

  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and reduce manual effort.
  • Implement automation solutions leveraging BI and analytics tools.
  • Promote self-service analytics capabilities across the organization.
  • Continuously improve reporting efficiency, scalability, and user experience.

 

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or data management.
  • 3+ years of experience leading analytics teams or large-scale reporting initiatives.
  • Proven experience translating business requirements into analytics solutions.
  • Experience working with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Additional Information

    Technical Skills

    • Advanced proficiency in SQL and data querying.
    • Expertise in BI and visualization tools such as: Power BI
    • Strong understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
    • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
    • Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data integration methodologies.
    • Experience with Python, R, or advanced analytics tools is preferred.
    • Strong understanding of KPI design, performance measurement, and business metrics.
