Key Responsibilities:

  1. Performance Monitoring

    • Continuously monitor the performance of IT systems, networks, servers, and applications.

    • Minimize disruptions by ensuring smooth transitions during IT changes.
  6. Continuous Improvement

    • Continuously evaluate and improve monitoring strategies, tools, and processes based on feedback and lessons learned.
    • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance monitoring effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT performance monitoring, capacity planning, and incident response.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and software such as Nagios, Splunk, SolarWinds, or similar.
  • Knowledge of IT security principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar.
  • Experience in a DevOps or Agile environment.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation of monitoring tasks.
