About the role
As the Data Analytics & Business Case Manager, you will drive data‑driven decision‑making across three semiconductor manufacturing sites in Asia. This role is responsible for developing analytical insights, financial and operational business cases, savings reports, and performance dashboards that support sourcing, operations, and executive leadership. You will play a critical role in improving cost transparency, operational efficiency, and strategic planning through advanced analytics.
What You Will Do:
Collect, consolidate, and analyze multisite manufacturing, procurement, and operational data to support strategic and tactical decisions.
Develop business cases for cost initiatives, productivity programs, supplier proposals, and capital investments.
Build and maintain dashboards for KPIs, cost savings, spend analytics, and performance tracking across the three sites.
Partner with sourcing, finance, engineering, and manufacturing teams to validate assumptions and quantify financial impacts.
Prepare and publish monthly and quarterly savings reports, cost trend analyses, and executive‑level presentations.
Identify cost‑reduction opportunities using data modeling, benchmarking, and scenario analysis.
Drive data governance by ensuring accuracy, completeness, and standardization of data across all Asian manufacturing facilities.
Support digitalization initiatives, including automation of reporting tools, workflow improvements, and system enhancements.
Provide insights into semiconductor industry trends, market data, and supplier dynamics to aid in strategic planning.
Collaborate with IT teams to maintain analytics systems and ensure data availability.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, business case development, or operations finance — semiconductor or high‑tech manufacturing preferred.
Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in data tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or equivalent.
Experience in building financial models, cost simulations, and ROI/NPV‑based business cases.
Solid understanding of procurement, manufacturing operations, and cost structures in a semiconductor environment.
Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of turning complex data into clear insights for leadership.
High proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams across different sites and time zones.
Detail‑oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with SAP, MES, or semiconductor planning systems is an advantage.
