About Opportunity
The role is accountable for identifying business insights and driving improvement opportunities through Statistical, Exploratory, and Advanced Analytics. The analyst will design, automate, and maintain analytical solutions across operational and network performance, enabling measurable on-ground improvements. This role requires an analytical thinker who can translate complex datasets into meaningful insights for business and network functions.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Data Analysis
• Extract, consolidate, and interpret operational and performance datasets to deliver meaningful insights.• Lead the reporting and analytics approach within Operations by designing scalable, repeatable data pipelines.• Create, automate, and maintain recurring dashboards and reports for stakeholders including senior leadership.
Governance, Documentation & Audit
• Maintain reporting calendars, SOPs, and process documentation.• Develop and maintain governance and control documentation ensuring data integrity, audit readiness, and compliance.
Process Improvement & Ad-hoc Analytical Work
• Lead the Global Benchmarking initiative for MSN, providing insights and executive-ready narratives for senior SLOP and MSN leadership.• Build and refine audit processes to enhance data accuracy and operational efficiency. Perform ad-hoc and deep-dive analysis to support evolving business requirements.• Design and document new reporting solutions, including effort estimation and implementation planning.
Exploratory & Advanced Analytics
• Conduct advanced analytics on operational and network datasets to uncover patterns and improvement areas.• Apply statistical and mathematical techniques to build insights that support network and operational decisions.• Independently drive data-led improvements and initiatives across processes.
Essential Skills & Competencies
Must-Have Skills
• Strong understanding of Telecom or IT Service Operations. Applied Mathematics & Statistics• Advance Data exploration, storytelling, and strong communication skills.• Familiarity with ITIL, eTOM, and TM Forum (ANO) process framework.• 6 years of experience as Senior Data Analyst in Telecom/IT Service Operations.• Master's degree in mathematics or Statistics (preferred).
Good to Have
• Python knowledge for automation and analytical tooling.• VBA experience for reporting automation. Hands-on experience with Advanced Excel, Power BI, SAP BI, GCP, and Tableau.
What Success Looks Like
• First 3 Months: Learn operational methods (domain knowledge), align with team culture, and begin contributing to data-driven improvements.• 6 Months: Improve analytical output quarter by quarter; deliver consistent, stakeholder-ready insights.• 12 Months: Independently explore data, generate insights, communicate findings, and manage customer interactions.
