As a member of Oshkosh Corporation’s Enterprise Analytics & AI team, you will play a key role in transforming business challenges into data-driven solutions that directly impact operational efficiency, profitability, and decision-making. This position focuses on analyzing large, complex datasets to uncover insights, streamline reporting processes, and deliver actionable recommendations that support our business units in areas such as Sales, Aftermarket, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations.
You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical partners to extract, prepare, and visualize data from multiple systems and cloud environments. The ideal candidate is not only technically proficient but also passionate about telling the story behind the numbers—connecting data to meaningful business outcomes.
YOUR IMPACT
- Collect, prepare, and analyze data from diverse internal sources including JDE, MES, Kronos, and the Azure Data Lake to generate business insights.
- Utilize SQL and Python to perform data wrangling, cleansing, and transformation for reporting and analytical purposes.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, recurring KPI reports, and automated analytics tools that drive visibility into key business metrics.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational challenges into technical problems and deliver clear, actionable insights.
- Partner with Data Engineers to create, test, and refine data views in Databricks that support recurring reporting and ad-hoc requests.
- Support Data Scientists on projects involving predictive and prescriptive analytics, helping bridge data preparation with advanced modeling.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, ensure data integrity, and identify opportunities for process automation and data-driven improvement.
- Conduct root cause and trend analyses to uncover the “why” behind performance outcomes and inform strategic recommendations.
- Participate in Oshkosh’s Analytics Communities of Practice to share learnings, contribute to continuous improvement, and advance the use of analytics across the organization.
- Maintain a mindset of curiosity and ownership—ensuring your work consistently adds recurring value and improves decision-making across the business.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in Data Analysis, Information Technology, or a related area.
- Experience with various web-based software applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data into business insights.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with cloud data environments such as Microsoft Azure, Databricks, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Working knowledge of data engineering concepts, data modeling, and visualization best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to convert raw data into actionable insights that improve business outcomes (e.g., efficiency gains, cost savings, customer experience).
- Strong understanding of business processes and operations within manufacturing, supply chain, or related industries.
- Proven ability to balance multiple priorities, manage deadlines, and communicate results effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Continuous learner with interest in professional development, including advanced analytics or data science coursework.

Pay Range:
$63,500.00 - $101,700.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
