Tickmill is looking to hire an Data Analyst to mainly collaborate with stakeholders and Product Owners/Analysts to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights based on data analysis.

What the job looks like?

The Data Analyst will have the chance to:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and Product Owners/Analysts to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights based on data analysis.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of large, complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights in collaboration with the rest of BI team members.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
  • Explore possibilities for valuable external data sources that could be used in combination with existing data sets to provide insightful information.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends.

What will you need to be able to do the job?

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, highly preferably in the Finance sector.
  • Strong analytical and logical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to identify, extract and manipulate data to highlight trends and deficiencies.
  • Good experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau and ability to choose the most appropriate visuals based on the purpose of the analysis.
  • Solid understanding of SQL language along with Data Modeling design principles and DAX language.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences.
  • Curiosity to investigate causes and effects and Team Play attitude.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
