A Snapshot
As a Data Analyst based in our HQ in Singapore, you will report to the Associate Manager, Data Strategy in the Customer Solutions Team and work closely with various teams and leadership across the Asia Pacific region, making your mark in a number of ways:
- Understanding various data types, including but not limited to csv, KMZs (Google Earth) and shapefiles (ArcGIS Pro), relevant to Data Centres and analysing them for the purposes of Site Selection.
- Working with various types datasets (qualitative and quantitative) to simplify them via data analysis/visualisation for internal decision-making involving various stakeholders.
- Engaging in all aspects of site selection, including improving on our business/market intelligence, and helping the team in market expansion strategies.
Your Day to Day
- Work cross-functionally with the commercial, energy, connectivity, and finance teams to create customer-focused solutions.
- Clean, analyse, and maintain data sets for site selection, energy, and connectivity teams and present data analyses to the aforementioned team.
- Aid Data Analysts and Associate Manager in data strategisation and market expansion studies.
- Lead environmental and risk analysis in new and existing AirTrunk markets.
- Assist in market/business planning activities, assessing new markets and new customers.
- Travel for the purposes of Site Selection and Data Collection.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Geography, Data Analysis, Statistics or relevant fields, GIS (Geographical Information Systems).
- 1-3 years of working experience in the field of Data Centre / Real Estate / Infrastructure / consulting, or in statistics, data analytics, data science.
- Ideally 1 year experience with ArcGIS Pro. (Experience with school-based projects is accepted). Alternatively, relevant experience with other GIS Platforms.
- Knowledge of basic Excel.
- Familiarity with at least one coding language: Python, C++, Java, etc. *Python and Arcade are preferred.
- Strong capabilities in geographical data analysis.
- Strong capabilities in PowerPoint for the purposes of reporting to other teams and senior management.
- Some comfort with PowerBI functionality.
- Flexible and adaptable to continuous improvement and changes in direction of business cases.
- Pro-active and unafraid of trial-and-error to achieve the needed results.
- Highly accountable.
