PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production commenced in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.
Job Description- Responsible for the UI maintenance of master data tool (i.e Tivity)
- Responsible in ensuring the consistency and quality of master data to support smooth business operations
- Create, upload, and maintain high-level master data for various business needs
- Analyze data errors, collaborate with relevant teams/departments, and ensure timely corrections
- Improve/optimize data validation rules and enhance workflows based on identified trends and errors
- Follow up data quality deviations with technical department and close monitoring of troubleshooting status
- Identify problem trends and propose corrective actions for implementation
- Develop and refine processes for data creation, correction, and maintenance
- Work closely with user departments, technical teams, and source departments (e.g., plants) to ensure data accuracy
- Responsible for creation and maintenance of dashboard related to master data within PJM1-SO
- Contribute to projects within the PJM1-SO portfolio, driving innovation and efficiency in data management
- Bachelors of Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or comparable qualification
- A minimum of 1 up to 5 years working experience is required preferable in a manufacturing IT environment
- Professional experience in the field of IT & databases, project management, manufacturing;
optionally semiconductor operations knowledge preferred. - Good team player & Good collaboration within an international environment
- Strong dedication, interest and motivation to proactively drive new and improvement
topics - Independent and accurate way of working
- Very good knowledge in Excel, database management and data processing
- Proficiency in PowerBI, SQL (i.e Oracle and MSSQL), Knime & SAP expertise is a must
- Knowledge in supply chain management & Project management
- Result and quality oriented
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
