The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

The Business Intelligence Engineer role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our business intelligence portfolio, help the organization uncover insights, and drive forward-thinking innovation in the Business Intelligence arena.
Your Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and design solutions to meet those needs.

Implement data models and data transformation processes to optimize report performance.

Provide support and troubleshooting for existing Power BI reports and dashboards.

You will create, test, and deploy Power BI reports.

Responsible for DAX queries / DAX functions / Power Query Editor

Documenting, and analyzing business requirements, processes, and workflows.

Your background:
-
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
-
2 (or more) years of related working experience.
-
Ability to interpret business needs and turn them into technical specifications for data analysis.

Must have a knowledge of Power Automate & Share point.
-
Experience in gathering business requirements and designing analytics solutions and understanding of fundamental programming principles.

Proficient in DAX, M language, and Power Query for data manipulation and analysis.

Experience in analytics and reporting, including SSAS, SSRS, and Power BI.
