Data Analyst

Role: Data Analyst (Entry Level)

As an entry level Data Analyst at tastytrade, you will be instrumental in harnessing data to deliver insights that are critical in serving our customers and growing the business through data-driven strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform data into actionable intelligence that supports our business objectives.   

What you’ll do: 

• Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover trends and insights that support business goals.   
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, ensuring stakeholders have access to key metrics and performance indicators.   
• Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and team members to define data requirements and deliver impactful insights.   
• Apply statistical and analytical techniques to solve complex business challenges.   
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in data collection and analysis methodologies. 

Who you are:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.   
• Experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role or related course work.   
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and manipulation.   
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.   
• Effective communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.   
• Experience in trading/finance industry a plus, but not required

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000  
The actual salary offered will be based on the candidate's level of experience and qualifications
