You will serve as an internal consultant to key stakeholders, understanding their strategic needs and structuring data solutions to support decision-making. You will develop insights and automation strategies that drive business results, including past projects such as pricing optimization, invoice process automation, and simulation modeling. You will play a pivotal role in Echo’s digital transformation, using your skills to shape data strategy and influence the future of the company.
This is a Hybrid role. You will be required to be in-person in our Chicago office every Thursday.

Technical Requirements (with Examples):
SQL (3+ years of daily use):
- Example: Write complex queries to extract and manipulate large datasets, optimize query performance, and ensure data accuracy for reports and dashboards.
Python (1+ year of daily use):
- Example: Use Python for data cleaning, analysis, and automation tasks. Build scripts for data transformation, create data pipelines, and integrate with APIs.
Desired Skills (with Examples):
Tableau (1+ year of frequent use):
- Example: Design interactive dashboards and data visualizations that provide actionable insights for stakeholders. Manage data sources, publish dashboards, and set up regular extract refreshes.
GitHub (1+ year of use preferred):
- Example: Maintain version control for analytics projects, collaborate with team members on code, and document changes for future reference.
Additional Desired Skills
- Verbal Communication: Clearly articulate findings to a range of audiences using presentations, screenshots, and descriptions.
- Written Communication: Effectively communicate insights through PowerPoint, emails, executive summaries, and blog-style posts.
- Stakeholder Management: Understand business needs, manage timelines, anticipate additional work, drive projects to completion, and leverage cross-department resources.
- Workload Management: Prioritize value-added work, manage personal workstreams, and proactively seek support or documentation as needed.
- Systems Architecture: Understand the strengths and weaknesses of different tools/languages/frameworks and choose the right technology for each solution.

$84,950.00-124,800.00 per year
This role is eligible for a bonus that is based on a combination of personal and business performance.
