Position Description
PAR, Jaipur is looking out for a Data Analyst, who will take ownership of data analytics activities and work closely with end users (both internal and external clients) to translate requirements into data-driven applications and data visualization solutions (e.g. reporting and dashboards), along with mining actionable insights.

What We’re Looking For
- Explore data spread across various entities and develop scalable data models towards creation of business data layer
- Participate in client calls with stakeholders who are based in different geography and hence different time zones to understand business needs and define reporting solutions
- Work with the Product Managers and CS Managers to develop insightful analytics reports for our clients. Make actionable business recommendations. Define performance measurement / KPI / recurring reports
- Utilize expertise in BI visualization technology, particularly Tableau, to design and develop interactive dashboards and reports, seamlessly integrating data from diverse sources to provide stakeholders with actionable insights and facilitate informed decision-making.
- Be one of the key owners of the quarterly business review process that highlights the relevant business opportunities
- Be able to independently query complex data and mine for non-trivial patterns in customer behavior
- Be a key liaison between the data and internal teams to:
- Address and resolve data requests.
- Ensure high quality of our data warehouse
- Represent the company’s expertise in advanced analytics, mainly through contributions towards opinion pieces/blog articles
What You will Do and Be Responsible For
- Engage in stakeholder calls across various time zones to comprehend business requirements and devise tailored reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Customer Success team to craft insightful analytics reports for clients, incorporating actionable recommendations and defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and recurring reports to measure and enhance business performance.
- Take ownership of the quarterly business review process, showcasing pertinent business opportunities, and leveraging data insights to drive strategic decision-making and foster growth.
- Independently analyze complex datasets, mining for nuanced patterns in customer behavior to uncover valuable insights that inform business strategies and drive actionable outcomes.
- Serve as a primary liaison between data and internal teams, addressing data requests, ensuring the integrity and high quality of the data warehouse, and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Why We Need You (Skill and Abilities)
- 2+ years of relevant experience in analytics
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Data technology, business, economics, statistics or other related fields, with a strong interest in marketing technology.
- Excellent data exploration and data modeling skills
- Expertise working with BI Visualization technology. Major preference for having skillset and work experience with Tableau (Desktop, Online Server), in creating analytics dashboards by connecting with various data sources. Minor preference for relatively shorter experience with Tableau but longer work experience with other BI tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Qlik Products, Looker etc.
- Strong knowledge and working experience with databases (SQL, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.). Database querying is associated with at least 60% of an analyst's day-to-day activity, hence, please apply only if you are comfortable with writing queries
- Self-starter, with a keen interest in technology and exceptional documentation skills
- Must be proactive and be prepared to address meeting in different time zones.
- Good to have skillset: R, Python, Tableau Server, Big Data Tools like Databricks, Spark
