THE ROLE
Data Analyst wanted in El Segundo, CA to work on CRM projects that improve performance of campaigns by building the target audience using various data cloud signals spanning from demographic, behavioral to transactional and location data
- Analyze how web behaviors correlate with user intent. Build automated and detailed reporting systems and dashboards
- Provide actionable insights for business strategy, product development and marketing operations.
- Interact with prospect and customer data to create impactful visualization and insight reports.
- Interact with potential partners to determine partnership value, data potential and go-forward plan
- Understand vast data sets and their main business uses and how to query them accurately to answer business questions or identify opportunities for improved data/data derivatives.
- Present findings and provide recommendations or analysis of results to help stakeholders make business decisions.
- Build automated workflows to generate reports, insights and data derivatives..
- Own a portion of the analytics request flow, prioritizing and responding to requests for insights from internal/external customers.
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to further the maturity of self-service analytics capability.
- Optimize queries and data flows on top of Snowflake/Hive/Athena/Vertica
- Build analytics workflows using Python/Ruby/Java, SQL, as well as utilize Looker/Tableau.
- Use knowledge of statistical packages and data science modules for analyzing datasets (eg. R, Matlab/Octave, SciPy).
- Use experience with large data sets and distributed computing (Snowflake/Hive/Hadoop/Spark).
- Use experience with automating data workflows using Airflow, python.
Option to telecommute three days a week.
Bachelor’s degree in Management of Technology, Computer Science or Statistics plus 1 year of experience.
Salary expectations: $132,673/yr
