Dematic has an opening for a Data Analyst supporting our Global Order Management (GOM) team. GOM is part of the Strategic Planning and Delivery Group under Global Supply Chain. This position will report to the Director of Global Order Management and ideally work out of our Grand Rapids, MI, office, the Americas Regional Headquarters. Once onboarded, the opportunity to work hybrid (in person and remote) is possible.
The main task of the Senior Data Analyst is to collect, manipulate, and analyze data. This person will prepare datasets from multiple sources such as SAP, Excel, and proprietary tools and create visualizations, detailing accurate results. This person will help maintain the integrity of Dematic’s data, making sure the produced data is consistent and reusable.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $82,875 - $121,550 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What you Will Do in This Role:

Collaborate with Operations Leaders and interfacing functions to understand data sets.

Use critical thinking to identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness.

Participate in the development of and manipulation of data lakes.

Create ETL processes and business rules for integrating application-level data.

Identify and resolve data discrepancies or anomalies.

Work with Global Operations Leaders to define scope and requirements for new reports and data analysis.

Leverage data from a variety of sources (SFDC, SAP S/4HANA, GDW, etc.) to analyze business performance, identify areas of opportunity and provide actionable insights.

Participate in change management activities within the execution team as appropriate.

Design, test, implement, and evaluate business process changes to improve data quality and business outcomes.
This is What we are Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in computer technology, engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Equivalent work experience considered.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in business/data analytics.

Experience with programming languages such as SQL to manage and query databases, and knowledge of statistical programming languages such as Python and R for data analysis.

Experience with BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce.com, and SAP S/4HANA.

Mastery level Excel skills.

The ability to prep, analyze, model, and interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.

Experience gathering, interpreting relevant data, and executing report requirements.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, finding solutions based on data insights.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to simplify complex topics, highlight the main takeaways from the analysis, and clearly present findings to stakeholders.

Self-motivated, customer oriented, team player with ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
