Role
The successful candidate for the Data Analyst position will be a meticulous and detail-oriented organizer, communicator, self-starter and well motivated quick learner who could work independently and able to be flexible on multiple credit datasets to support our growth and accuracy.
The Data Analyst will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including but not limited to ingesting data from AI models, collecting data from files and ESG reports from third party sources, data auditing and data analyzing to provide accurate, comprehensive and timely data to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Data cleaning and auditing for Advisors data before generating an analytic report
- Scrap data from public sources and standardize data across multiple public and private data sources
- Insert datasets from source documents to agreed upon timeline and / or volume of data according to priorities
- Switch between ESG, Advisor, BDC and other datasets with good multitasking skills
- Proactively review datasets for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities
- Research and execute ad hoc data projects
- Document working progress by timely updating the dashboard
- Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams including but not limited to other data teams, editorial, product and technologies
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data, business administration or financial service
- Basic understanding of credit market and financial statements
- Effective project management skills, including strong attention to detail, and demonstrated analytical skills
- Flexible in working in US and European hours if required
- Strong excel skills, knowledge in PowerBI and data scraping
- Remote working experience across different time zones is a must
- Drive to continuously improve, owning mistakes and learning from them
- Action oriented, effective team player and driven to excel
- Creative in finding the right solutions in a fast paced environment
- Proactive communicator with a strong work ethic
