Hybrid – Buffalo, NYOur Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team in the Corporate Group is looking for a Data Analyst to join them.
You will report to the Environmental Health & Safety Global Services Manager.
In this role, you will collect, analyze, and interpret Environmental Health & Safety data to support compliance and risk management. You will develop dashboards and reports to monitor EHS performance metrics, collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve processes.
This role works on a hybrid schedule and requires you to be onsite at our corporate headquarters in East Aurora, New York several days each week.
To be considered for the Data Analyst role, here’s what you’ll typically need to bring with you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of data analysis concepts and techniques.
- At least 1 year of experience with tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must live locally to the Buffalo area (no relocation assistance).
- U.S. citizenship required due to access to certain data.
As a Data Analyst, you will:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret EHS data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor EHS performance metrics across the company.
- Collaborate with EHS team members to identify data needs and ensure data accuracy.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve EHS processes and compliance.
- Support development and implementation of EHS initiatives through data analysis.
- Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in all data handling processes.
- Partner with IT and engineering teams to build and maintain data ecosystems.
