Who are we?

Tripledot Studios is one of the largest independent mobile games companies in the world.

We are a multi-award-winning organisation, with a global 2,500+ strong team across 12 studios.

Our expanded portfolio includes some of the biggest titles in mobile gaming, collectively reaching top chart positions around the world and engaging over 25 million daily active users.

Tripledot’s guiding principle is that when people love what they do, what they do will be loved by others.

We’re building a company we’re proud of. One filled with driven, incredibly smart and detail-orientated people, who LOVE making games.

Our ambition is to be the most successful games company in the world, and we’re just getting started.

The role is working within our studio: Lion Studios

Lion Studios is a mobile games publisher that works with mobile developers to get their games discovered by players around the world. Headquartered in San Francisco, Lion Studios’ creative and strategy teams utilize their expertise to help game developers break through the noise and grow their businesses.

Since launching in 2018, Lion Studios has driven 90% of its games to the Top 10 in the App Store and Google Play and helped drive 16 games to #1 in the US App Store’s Top Free chart.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Product Scientist to join our small but fast-moving product analytics team. You'll own experimentation and data-driven decision-making across our mobile games portfolio — designing and analyzing A/B tests, building user segmentations, uncovering product insights, and directly influencing how millions of players experience our games.

This isn't a role where you'll wait for someone to hand you a task. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with product managers, game designers, and engineers — proactively identifying opportunities, challenging assumptions, and turning data into real product impact. We move fast, ship often, and actively use AI tools to accelerate our analyses and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, run, and evaluate A/B tests across multiple game titles — ensuring experiments are statistically rigorous and lead to clear, actionable outcomes.
  • Define and monitor success metrics (retention, monetization, engagement) and build analytical frameworks that drive product decisions.
  • Perform deep-dive analyses: user segmentation, cohort analysis, funnel breakdowns, and predictive modeling to surface growth and retention opportunities.
  • Translate business questions into data requirements — working with engineering to ensure proper event tracking and data reliability.
  • Build dashboards and reports that communicate insights to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop hypotheses, prioritize experiments, and foster a culture of continuous learning and rapid iteration.
  • Leverage AI tools and automation to speed up analyses, generate insights, and improve team efficiency.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 2–4 years of experience in product analytics, data science, or a similar quantitative role — ideally in mobile gaming, apps, or a fast-paced tech environment.
  • Strong A/B testing expertise: you can design experiments end-to-end, choose appropriate statistical methods, interpret results, and communicate trade-offs.
  • Proficient in SQL — you're comfortable writing complex queries and working with large datasets.
  • Python or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, and automation.
  • Segmentation & cohort analysis experience — you know how to slice user behavior to find what matters.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (statistics, economics, mathematics, computer science, or similar). A thesis or research experience is a strong plus.
  • Self-starter mentality — you thrive with autonomy, take ownership, and execute quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).

Working at Tripledot

  • 25 days holiday: Enjoy 20 days of paid holiday plus an additional 5 days per annum, in addition to bank holidays to relax and refresh throughout the year.
  • Continuous Professional Development: Propel your career with continuous opportunities for professional development.
  • Supplemental Health Insurance: Continentale: annual budget of 1200 eur - reimbursement for healthcare outside of public plans (glasses, messages, dental treatments etc.)
  • Public Transportation reimbursement:  100% of public transportation to the office via BVG ticket is covered
  • Employee Assistance Program: Anytime you need it, tap into confidential, caring support with our Employee Assistance Program, always here to lend an ear and a helping hand.
  • Daily Free Lunch: Order free food from Wolt when at the office
  • Pension plan: Opt-in to employer contributed pension plan, operated with Degura

Skills Required

  • 2–4 years of experience in product analytics, data science, or a similar quantitative role
  • Experience in mobile gaming, apps, or a fast-paced technology environment
  • Strong end-to-end A/B testing and statistical analysis expertise
  • Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries and large datasets
  • Python or R experience for data analysis, statistical modeling, and automation
  • Experience with user segmentation and cohort analysis
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, computer science, or a similar quantitative field
  • Thesis or research experience
  • Self-starter mentality, autonomy, ownership, and ability to execute quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
