Description

As a Data Analyst, you support business operations by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to provide clear and actionable insights. You'll be the person who turns SendCutSend's production, sales, and operations data into answers people can actually act on. You will conduct your own deep dives to answer questions like “Is our Pricing Correct?” or “Is this the correct shipping promise?”  You'll build and maintain reporting that tracks how parts move through our facilities, and where the business is winning or losing time or money. You'll work closely with Operations, Sales, Finance, and Engineering to answer questions with data instead of guesswork, and to build dashboards and models that hold up under real day-to-day use, not just in a demo.

Why SendCutSend

SendCutSend is an on-demand manufacturing company specializing in custom sheet metal and CNC machining. We serve more than 150,000 engineers, fabricators, and businesses across the U.S. and Canada. We operate out of six facilities located in Nevada, Kentucky, and Texas.

Our business is built on reliability, accountability, quality, and constant improvement. Everyone here plays a real role in our success. We value people who are collaborative, innovative, and committed to detailed high-quality work. We’re scaling fast and building the future of manufacturing. If you’re excited to join the team and grow with us, we want to hear from you!

What you’ll do

  • Analyze pricing, material usage, and lead time data to support decisions on capacity planning and process improvement
  • Build, maintain, and improve dashboards and reports covering production throughput, pricing, and fulfillment across our facilities
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into clear analyses, and translate analyses back into plain-language recommendations
  • Partner with Operations and Engineering to identify bottlenecks in manufacturing workflows using cycle time, capacity, and quality data
  • Pull, clean, and validate data from production database and other internal systems so reporting is actionable, accurate, and repeatable
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to support recurring reporting needs and one-off requests from leadership
  • Document data definitions, report logic, and data sources so reporting stays consistent as the business scales
  • Identify data quality issues at the source and work with system owners to fix them rather than patching around them
  • Identify, collect, clean, validate, and organize data from production databases and other internal systems to ensure reporting is accurate, consistent, actionable, and repeatable
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
