Responsibilities
- Design, scale, and maintain high-impact executive dashboards using Metabase, Looker Studio (Data Studio) and Spreadsheet to track high-level business performance, risks, and revenue targets.
- Serve as the dedicated analytics touchpoint for management, translating raw technical pipelines into simple, high-utility financial and risk summaries.
- Partner directly with business operations, credit underwriting, and collection teams to map internal workflows, absorb institutional lending domain knowledge, and translate business requirements into technical data schemas.
- Maintain cross-departmental reviews to define and standardize business metrics, ensuring that technical definitions exactly match commercial realities.
- Conduct rigorous data investigations to detect, debug, and reconcile reporting mismatches.
- Build or modify internal productivity workflows using Apps Script/JavaScript and maintain scheduled reporting automation orchestrated via Airflow.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a matching quantitative field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an analytics role. Prior exposure to digital lending, micro-finance, banking, or fintech operations is highly advantageous.
- Comfort with multi-table joins, subqueries, and window functions to query heavy, nested lending and transaction histories.
- Demonstrated experience building intuitive, clean UI reports in Metabase, Looker Studio and Spreadsheet.
- Ability to build script integrations to push automated alerts from database queries into business tools (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace).
- Basic comfort reading or modifying Airflow DAGs to check data dependencies and pipeline execution health.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to confidently present findings to management and gather requirements from diverse business teams.
- The ability to look past raw numbers and understand the commercial drivers behind credit approvals, loan disbursement velocities, and non-performing loans.
- Exceptional skill in presenting technical findings to management and negotiating metrics definitions across disparate business units.
- A sharp eye for detail and data integrity, enjoy checking and identifying why two data sources have conflicting transaction counts.
