We are a rapidly growing pan-European digital wealth manager, serving over 167,000 active investors with more than £5.5 billion invested on our platform. We began in Milan in 2011 with the purpose to help more people improve their financial well-being by making personal investing simple and accessible through technology. Fast forward to today, and we are recognised as one of the most innovative fintechs, headquartered in the heart of London.

With a team of 220+ people across 4 offices in Italy and the UK, we are proudly backed and funded by major partners including Poste Italiane, Cabot Square Capital, United Ventures, and Allianz.

Our vision

Our vision is to combine passion, expertise, and technology to provide best-in-class investment solutions and advice that protects and grows client wealth over time.

Our Core Values:

We’ve built our business on three Principles:

  • Relationships are our first asset: We’re one team, built on trust, honesty, and transparency. We value our relationships above all else.
  • Trust drives success: We give each other the space to grow. We empower our employees to succeed, so they can make a real impact.
  • Our customers dream big, just like us: We see the bigger picture and we make sure our customers see it, too. We’re always focused on the best outcomes for our clients and for each other, no matter what the goal, or how big the dream

What this means in practice:

At Moneyfarm, our success comes from the impact each of us makes. We move with purpose, urgency, and ambition, focused on delivering outcomes that matter for our clients and our business. Everyone is empowered to take ownership, challenge the status quo, and turn bold ideas into results. As we evolve, we embrace AI as a catalyst for sharper thinking, smarter decisions, and even greater impact.

Our diversity makes this possible. Different perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences fuel our creativity and drive better decisions — it’s our competitive edge. We value people for who they are and their unique strengths: that's why we offer flexible ways of working to support them in doing their best work.

About the role

Are you excited about making a real impact on the way Moneyfarm makes decisions? If you are an engineering-minded data analyst ready to get hands-on on a Data Platform supercharged with AI this role is for you.

You will join Moneyfarm’s Data Team as a Data Analyst working closely with either product verticals (Trading, Wealth, Pension, Acquisition) or CEO office. You will act as the Data Enabler for your working group, turning raw data into trusted, well-defined information that product managers, business stakeholders (including C-level) and engineers can act on autonomously.

With surface-level output produced by AI, your job will be to orchestrate that work and be accountable for it: reviewing code, creating data models, writing tests, and curating the context our AI agents rely on. You will own the analytical narrative and KPIs of your area and safeguard the quality of its data.

Main Responsibilities:

          • Build a profound understanding of the business context you will be embedded into.
          • Direct AI tools to build queries, dashboards and reports, and take full accountability for the output.
          • Design, build and maintain analytics-ready DBT data models, applying software-engineering best practices to analytics code.
          • Own the design, definitions, implementation and exhibition of KPIs and metrics for your working group.
          • Act as an Data Enabler with your stream aligned group, facilitating access to data and analysis adjusting to different levels of support for different stakeholders.
          • Foster trust towards Data Analytics outputs: proactively catch and handle data quality issues.
          • Refine loosely defined questions into structured analysis plans with clear scope, timelines and tradeoffs. Investigate and interpret data to generate insights that inform business decisions.
          • Contribute the evolution of our Data Platform, with a focus on its AI capabilities: curate the semantic layer, build skills, explore opportunities for further enhancements.

Requirements
  • ~2 years of relevant work experience in data analytics or related areas.
  • BSc or higher degree in a quantitative discipline (Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or similar).
  • Experience in fintech / wealth management is a plus.
Skills
  • Strong curiosity in exploring data and extracting meaningful insights, supported by attention to detail.
  • Sound statistical reasoning and commercial awareness; able to connect analysis to the business decision it supports.
  • Strong SQL is essential. DBT, Airflow and Python are strong plus.
  • Strong experience with BI tools: Tableau, Metabase, Looker and similar. Strong familiarity with spreadsheets.
  • Solid software-engineering fundamentals: version control (Git), branching, code review, CI/CD, CLI usage.
  • Comfortable reading, reviewing and refactoring analytical code.
  • AI fluency: able to direct AI effectively, detect and handle hallucinations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with non-technical stakeholders; able to lead with the "so what", not just the method.
  • Ability to work autonomously across multiple stakeholders, balancing quality and delivery in an iterative environment.
  • Fluency in English is essential (most stakeholders are UK-based).

Level & Compensation:

We apply CCNL Credito and based on candidate's experience and skills, we will assign the title of Analytics Professional.

Salary range: €32,000 – €40,000 gross/year + bonus, based on experience/competences demonstrated

This role is based in our Milan or Cagliari office and our smart working policy requires as a minimum 2 days of in-office presence per week.
