Data Analyst I, Performance & Analytics
Chamber Cardio – Where Care Comes Together
About Chamber
Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death in America. At Chamber, we're rebuilding the system for cardiology, creating a world where outcomes, not volume, define success. We partner with independent cardiologists to help them lead population health efforts in their communities, equipping them with technology, data, and operational tools that turn complex insights into better care for patients.
Our model blends clinical expertise, thoughtful design, and a modern operating platform that supports physicians, patients, and payers alike. We believe innovation and empathy go hand in hand, and by combining cutting-edge AI tools with a relentless focus on human care, we can transform heart health at scale.
Role Overview
We're looking for a Data Analyst I to support Chamber's Performance & Analytics function within Care Operations. This is an entry-level, high-ownership role for someone early in their analytics career who wants to learn how data drives a value-based cardiology business. You'll report to and work directly with the Associate Director, Performance & Analytics, and you'll be the hands that turn our payer, clinical, and operational data into the dashboards, reports, and workflows the team runs on.
Chamber succeeds when our payer contracts perform. Your work helps answer the questions leadership asks every week: are our contracts on track, is the care team performing, and are we at risk of missing a target before the payer sees it? You'll build the reporting and tooling that make those answers fast, accurate, and trustworthy.
This is a hands-on role. You'll spend your time pulling data, validating it, building dashboards, maintaining workflows, and turning fragmented source data into clear, reliable outputs. Above all, we're looking for someone who is genuinely eager to learn and not afraid to ask questions. You won't know everything on day one, and nobody expects you to. The analysts who thrive here are the ones who stay curious, ask early rather than guess, and get a little sharper every week.
Key Responsibilities
Performance & Operational Reporting
Support recurring performance reporting, including daily, weekly, and monthly packages that show leadership where our programs stand.
Build and maintain dashboards and scorecards (in Retool and BI tools) tracking leading indicators, SLA pacing, and operational performance across payer programs.
Pull, validate, and QA data from operational systems to ensure reporting is accurate before it reaches leadership.
Support clinical performance reporting across medication adherence, post-discharge visit completion, care gaps, and quality measures (HEDIS, Stars), surfacing the signal for clinical partners.
Investigate missed targets, unexpected trends, data discrepancies, and reporting issues to identify root causes and improve reporting accuracy.
Data & Systems Operations
Build, maintain, and QA workflows, lists, and properties to support Care Ops reporting and program operations.
Maintain clean, consistent, and reporting-ready data to ensure reliable reporting and dashboards.
Support new reporting requirements and operationalize program changes as contracts and programs evolve.
Flex to Team Priorities
In a high-growth environment, priorities shift quickly. You'll take on new analytical and operational tasks as they emerge, such as standing up a dashboard or supporting a program launch with data, owning each one end to end and expanding the range of work you can take off the team's plate.
What You'll Achieve in Your First 90 Days
Build a working understanding of Chamber's payer contracts and the operational, clinical, and performance metrics that support them, including how the underlying data connects and where it's stored.
Independently run and maintain a set of recurring reports and dashboards, delivered accurately and on time with QA before publishing.
Take ownership of at least one dashboard or scorecard end to end.
Surface a data-quality or process finding, whether a gap, an inconsistency, or an improvement, and propose a fix that makes the team's reporting more reliable.

Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
Curious, eager to learn, and comfortable asking questions.
Comfortable working with imperfect data and transforming it into clean, reliable datasets.
Preferred Qualifications
0–2 years of experience in analytics, data, or operations (internships, co-ops, and relevant academic projects count).
Healthcare experience (payer, provider, or health tech); value-based care experience is a plus.
Master's degree in a related field.
Exposure to Python for data work (e.g., pandas, scripting, or automation) is a plus.
Takes initiative, follows through, and owns recurring deliverables.
