The Opportunity:

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for transforming operational and enterprise‑level data into strategic insights that drive mission success. You will call upon your experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting to leverage tools such as Power BI and Tableau in delivering actionable intelligence to leadership and staff. Your core responsibilities will include integrating and interpreting data from platforms like Maven Smart System and War Data Platform to support operational decision‑making. You will develop interactive dashboards, enforce data governance standards, and provide data‑driven findings for briefs and mission updates. In this role, you’ll draw on your background with SQL, Excel, and modern scripting techniques to build efficient workflows and analytical products. You will also work closely with stakeholders to ensure data quality, promote data‑informed decisions, and strengthen the client’s overall analytics maturity. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience collecting, processing, analyzing, and visualizing data from a wide range of command and enterprise-level sources

  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and data visualizations such as Power BI and Tableau

  • Experience in analyzing both structured and unstructured data to produce key metrics, identify trends, and support performance monitoring

  • Experience in preparing and managing data, including cleaning, aggregating, transforming, and labeling datasets for analysis and visualization

  • Experience building and managing ETL/ELT data pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data flows from source systems

  • Ability to generate regular and ad-hoc reports, summarizing analytical findings, and supporting briefings with data-driven charts and insights

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

  • Experience with DoD enterprise data systems such as Maven Smart System or Foundry

  • Experience collaborating with CDAO team members and staff on process improvements in data collection and reporting

  • Experience with metadata management and advanced data lifecycle management techniques

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
