This opportunity entails being responsible for designing and developing software applications, most notably data analytics and visualization. You will perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.
You will work closely with planners, engineers, managers and stakeholders to understand needs, develop business requirements, and execute software develop to meet the needs.
This position will also collaborate with other offices within the Digital Infrastructure Solutions service line.

What You'll Do:

  • Designs and develops software applications.
  • Performs coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.
  • Works closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that the software meets business requirements.
  • Participates in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers.
  • Writes technical documentation for software applications.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and 3 years of relevant experience, or
  • Master’s degree in computer science or related field and 2 years of relevant experience, or
  • In lieu of education, 7 years of relevant experience.

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Angular, C#, or Python
  • Strong knowledge of applications such as PowerBI or other visualization tools, including GIS
  • Experience with software development tools such as Git, JIRA, or Jenkins
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills

What We Prefer:

  • Master’s degree in computer science.
